Overhead Crane and Rigging Training

The Crane Operator and Rigger course is an in-person training that fulfills the ASME Standard B30-2.3.1.1, which states:

Crane operator training shall be provided to promote proficient performance of a crane operator in conformance with the provisions of this Volume.

At the completion of this program, participants will be considered qualified as a crane operator and will receive a copy of the training workbook, a rigging guide, a Certificate of Qualification, and an Operator Card to carry to job sites as proof of completion. This certification is valid for two years. 

Overhead Crane and Rigging Training Overview

By the end of this course, students will identify crane types, demonstrate crane safety, recognize inspection rejection criteria, and understand the basics of rigging.
Course highlights include:

Cost minimum of $2500 or $250 per person. Upon successful course completion, students will receive their Certificate of Qualification and Operator Card, valid for two years.

PURPOSE OF CRANE OPERATOR TRAINING

“The employer must ensure that each operator is trained and certified/licensed and evaluated in accordance with this section before operating any equipment covered under subpart CC, except for the equipment listed in paragraph (a)(2) of this section.”
